Discuss in forumStella Travel Services chief executive Peter Lacaze today announced the long awaited Explanatory Memorandum detailing its proposed merger with Jetset Travelworld Group (JTG) is complete and available for viewing. In a statement issued early yesterday morning, Mr Lacaze further advised JTG will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on 6 September 2010 when shareholders, equipped with the Explanatory Memorandum, will be called to vote on the merger. “[T]he Explanatory Memorandum is an important milestone in the merger process,” Mr Lacaze said, urging colleagues to read the hefty document. Expected to be finalised and on hand to give to shareholders more than two weeks ago, the Explanatory Memorandum was delayed in production and regulatory body review.
